Announcing a Major LIQUID PRESS Update

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of LIQUID PRESS.

We have carried out a major update to the LIQUID PRESS series themes.
To mark the occasion, we have also released free design skins and parts.

Update Overview

We now support the stable release of the Bootstrap 4 CSS framework. This brings support for the highly flexible Flex utilities, making responsive designs and grid column layouts easier to create.

For how to update and for the change history, please see WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Support.

Key Points

Updated from Bootstrap v4.0.0-alpha to Bootstrap v4.1.0.
LIQUID PRESS has been majorly updated from the v0.9 line (final version v0.9.7.4) to the v1.0 line.
Added Bootstrap design previews in the admin dashboard.
Released free design skins and parts that make it easy to change designs and add features.

Supported Browsers

The requirement changes from IE9 or later to IE10 or later.

Important Notes

We recommend creating a backup of your theme files before updating the theme.
If you use a child theme, please obtain the latest files from the parent theme and replace them.
If you have made customizations, please see the update guide before updating.
Some specifications of the Bootstrap framework have changed. Please clear your cache after updating.
If you have configured widget column settings, we are sorry to say that you will need to configure them again.
Please note that customization falls outside the scope of our support.

Free Design Skins and Parts

We have released a collection of code snippets that make it easy to change designs and create layouts in LIQUID PRESS premium themes (v1 and later). You can change the design of headings and share buttons, and create layouts for buttons, cards, pricing tables, and more, all for free.
